Het real-time besturingssubsysteem is gebaseerd op TI's eigen 32-bits C28x floating-point CPU en beschikt over de meest flexibele en zeer nauwkeurige besturingsperifere apparaten.met inbegrip van ePWM's met storingsbescherming, en codeert en vangt alle door TI's geïmplementeerde
TMS320C2000TM Entry performance MCU's en Premium performance MCU's. Bovendien is de C28-CPU verbeterd met de toevoeging van de VCU instructie versneller die efficiënte Viterbi implementeert,Complexe rekenkunde, 16-bits FFT's en CRC-algoritmen.
Er wordt een hogesnelheidsanalogusubsysteem en aanvullend RAM-geheugen gedeeld, samen met de spanningsregulatie op de chip en redundante clockcircuits.Veiligheidsoverwegingen omvatten ook de foutcorrectiecode (ECC), pariteit en code-beveiligd geheugen, evenals documentatie ter ondersteuning van de industriële veiligheidscertificering op systeemniveau.
