Caractéristiques :
Les 'ABT16373A sont des verrous transparents de type D à 16 bits avec sorties 3 états conçus spécifiquement pour piloter des charges très capacitives ou à impédance relativement faible. Ils sont particulièrement adaptés à la mise en œuvre de registres tampons, de ports d'E/S, de pilotes de bus bidirectionnels et de registres de travail.
Ces dispositifs peuvent être utilisés comme deux verrous de 8 bits ou un verrou de 16 bits. Lorsque l'entrée de validation de verrouillage (LE) est à l'état haut, les sorties Q suivent les entrées de données (D). Lorsque LE est ramené à l'état bas, les sorties Q sont verrouillées aux niveaux définis par les entrées D.
Une entrée de validation de sortie (OE) tamponnée peut être utilisée pour placer les huit sorties dans un état logique normal (niveaux logiques haut ou bas) ou dans un état de haute impédance. Dans l'état de haute impédance, les sorties ne chargent ni ne pilotent significativement les lignes de bus. L'état de haute impédance et le pilotage accru offrent la capacité de piloter les lignes de bus sans nécessiter de composants d'interface ou de tirage vers le haut.
OE n'affecte pas les opérations internes du verrou. Les anciennes données peuvent être conservées ou de nouvelles données peuvent être entrées pendant que les sorties sont dans l'état de haute impédance.
Lorsque VCC est compris entre 0 et 2,1 V, le dispositif est dans l'état de haute impédance lors de la mise sous tension ou hors tension. Cependant, pour garantir l'état de haute impédance au-dessus de 2,1 V, OE doit être relié à VCC via une résistance de tirage vers le haut ; la valeur minimale de la résistance est déterminée par la capacité de courant de charge du pilote.
