Los dispositivos ’AHCT74 duales activados por flanco positivo son flip-flops tipo D. Un nivel bajo en las entradas de preset (PRE) o clear (CLR) establece o reinicia las salidas, independientemente de los niveles de las otras entradas. Cuando PRE y CLR están inactivos (altos), los datos en la entrada de datos (D) que cumplen los requisitos de tiempo de configuración se transfieren a las salidas en el borde ascendente del pulso de reloj. El disparo del reloj ocurre a un nivel de voltaje y no está directamente relacionado con el tiempo de subida del pulso del reloj.
