Este flip-flop de tipo D de 16 bits com gatilho de borda é operacional a 0,8 V a 2,7 V VCC, mas foi projetado especificamente para operação VCC de 1,65 V a 1,95 V.
O SN74AUC16374 é particularmente adequado para implementar registos de buffer, portas de E/S, condutores de ônibus bidirecionais e registos de trabalho.Pode ser usado como dois flip-flops de 8 bits ou um flip-flop de 16 bitsNa transição positiva da entrada do relógio (CLK), as saídas Q do flip-flop assumem os níveis lógicos definidos nas entradas de dados (D).
Uma entrada de saída habilitada para buffer (OE) pode ser usada para colocar as oito saídas em um estado lógico normal (níveis lógicos altos ou baixos) ou no estado de alta impedância.As saídas não carregam nem conduzem as linhas de autocarro de forma significativaO estado de alta impedância e o aumento da unidade fornecem a capacidade de conduzir linhas de ônibus sem componentes de interface ou pullup.
O EO não afeta as operações internas do fecho. Os dados antigos podem ser retidos ou novos dados podem ser inseridos enquanto as saídas estão no estado de alta impedância.
Para garantir o estado de alta impedância durante a ligação ou a desligação, o equipamento deve ser ligado ao VCC através de uma resistência de tração;O valor mínimo da resistência é determinado pela capacidade de afundamento do condutor.
Este dispositivo é totalmente especificado para aplicações de apagão parcial usando Ioff. O circuito Ioff desativa as saídas, evitando o fluxo de corrente prejudicial através do dispositivo quando é desligado.
